All,

I am searching for and want to buy a 1955 Mercury Custom 2-Door Sedan. This was the entry level Mercury for 1955, was powered by a V-8 engine and (I believe) only equipped with the Standard 3-Speed Manual Transmission. Also, they had very little chrome or stainless steel trim unlike the Montclair and Monterrey Models. the equivalent Chevy would have been the "150", although they were usually equipped with the 235 cu. in. Straight 6-Cylinder engine.

I am in Rancho Santa Fe (part of San Diego County in Southern California) and my telephone number is 858-523-8210.

If you have one of these Mercury cars "For Sale" (or wish to trade for one of my cars), please contact me.

Thank you.

Regards,

Don Cordier
