Description:

1950 Ford ConvertibleThis is without a doubt one of the nicest classic Fords in the country! Whether you are into the Shoebox Fords or not there is no denying this car has class and a beautiful look. From the paint, to the chrome, to the drive train everything was meticulously thought out and professionally done. The car was completely frame off restored in what became a 5 year long process. It only has had 800 miles put on it since completed so it practically looks brand new. The convertible steel body is extremely straight with a great fit and finish. It is coated in a nice Red paint that looks beautiful out in the sun. It is then fitted with all of the original style chrome and trim which has been triple plated. The bumpers have an awesome shine have been smoothed out and triple plated as well. One of the coolest features on the car that must be mentioned is the rare emblems/ornaments. On the hood is a very rare special ordered hood ornament with the rare factory bullet propeller on the grill. Every shoebox fan in the world will be slobbering over those to pieces of metal alone! The glass has the factory tint and is nice a clear. The high end canvas top is fitted with a nice clear glass rear window as well. The top raises and lowers with no issues and is fitted with custom made top boot. The car has a very solid stance and looks very cool rolling down the road. It rides on a nice set of original wheels with factory hub caps and ribbed rings. These are wrapped with all new Coker white wall tires that complete the look nicely. The quality doesn''t stop with the exterior with a 16K motor city flathead being mounted under the hood. It has a nice smooth idle and was nicely built. The Edelbrock air cleaner matches the Edelbrock valve covers which are fitted with nice stainless acorn nuts. The engine compartment has all been painted to match the car and creates a nice clean look. The car has no heating issues and runs nice and cool with the aluminum Be Cool radiator. The motor is backed by a 4 speed manual transmission that shifts with no issues and leads to the 8" Ford rear end. The car has a nice smooth ride and drives very well which is partially due to the added Volvo steering box and fat man front end.The interior is completed in all high end imported Beige leather that looks amazing. The front and rear seats are extremely comfortable and allow plenty of leg room. The dash of the car is all nicely painted and topped with the original style knobs/switches. The original speedometer works with no issues with the original clock being the only other gauge. A small tachometer has been added to the steering column which aides in shifting and fits nicely in place. The original steering wheel is painted a Beige to match the leather and is in great condition.Get this classic while it is still available! It won''t be around for long as it is truly one of the nicest ever built! There aren''t many classics out there done with this qualityfor only $54,500.00!NOW REDUCED DOWN TO ONLY $49,500.00!You won''t find another Shoebox ford quite like this!
