You will have a blast when cruising in this cool 1957 Nash Metropolitan Hardtop. It has a very straight and solid body. The floor pans have been reinforced with fiberglass and are very solid. It is painted black and white with original 13 inch red wheels. It even has all 4 of its original hubcaps. It has new weather stripping and virtually new tires. It is powered by its original 1500 cc Austin motor that has been completely rebuilt. It has a rebuilt carburetor, rebuilt radiator, rebuilt fuel pump, new thermostat, new water neck and a freshly reconditioned gas tank. It starts and runs great with no smoking. The brakes have also been completely rebuilt with new shoes, new wheel cylinders and a new master cylinder. The 3 speed manual transmission and hydraulic clutch are in good working order. The car needs nothing mechanically done to it.The interior has been redone to its original appearance with white vinyl and cloth seat covers in both front and rear. The rear seat back unlocks for access to the trunk area which is very solid with no rust.Metropolitans in similar condition are going for $10,000 and more. This one needs very little to be completely restored and would make a great car for running around town in or for a student to use back and forth to school. Cute, dependable and very gas economical.Make this baby yours for the low price of $6,950.00Year 1957Make NashModel Metropolitan HTVIN# E28367Color Black & WhiteInterior Vinyl & ClothEngine Original 1500 RebuiltTransmission 3 Speed ManualMileage Odometer 34,584Other Over $8,000 in restorationPrice $6,950.00Stock No. #0840
