1956 Lincoln Mark II The Lincoln Continental returned this year with the introduction of the Mark II. It made its debut on Oct. 6, 1955, at the Paris Auto Show. A long hood, short deck, restrained use of chrome and near perfect proportions helped the Mark II show the world just how beautiful a production American automobile could be. Like its predecessors, it was an instant classic. Yet it was not an imitation of the original. The Mark II was unmistakably modern in design. Being priced in the lofty $10,000 range seemed to only accentuate how special this car was. This example is a very presentable driver quality car. Older repaint in Tuxedo Black and still very satisfactory, as well as the chrome and bright work. Inside is very nice, its undergone a recent interior restoration and is very attractive. Equipped as you would expect including air conditioning, power windows, seat, steering and brakes, as well as the original Town Country radio. Powered by the OHV 368 CID V8. A great investment opportunity and priced thousands back of book. Call Tracie for more details on this 1956 Lincoln Continental .
