Please contact us for more information. This 1967 Chevy Chevelle is the product of a 5-year, frame-off, nut-and-bolt restoration with virtually no expense spared beginning with an original California car. It has a pro-built 355 small-block engine followed by an Art Carr 700R4 transmission with a high-stall torque converter, backed by a 3.73:1 12-bolt Positraction rearend. The engine has a healthy idle from the solid-lifter cam with gear drive, and includes an Edelbrock intake and headers. The frame and suspension have all been powder coated semi gloss black and all new bushings, ball joints, tie rod ends, idler, and Pitman arms were installed, along with factory power disc/drum brakes. The interior is all new with parts from OPG. The clean California body had both quarters replaced and an ‘SS’ hood added, then it underwent extensive block sanding to achieve laser-straight panels before being coated in silver/black two-tone paint with an Orange pinstripe hand-painted to separate the two layers. All told, over $10 K was invested in the paintwork alone. Rolling on 18-inch Boss wheels and drag radial tires, this Chevelle runs and drives well like a fully restored, show-worthy car should.
