Description:

1981 Delorean DMC-12. "Delorean Motor Corporation Twelve"- 12, originally signifying the $12,000.00 U.S. cost of the vehicle. When in fact the actual sticker price of the car was $25,000.00 U.S. at the time of its release. Six of the nearly 9000 vehicles were purchased for the original film. Three to be used as drivers and the remaining three were cut up for "Process cars". An additional damaged Delorean was purchased for the third film at a cost of about $4000 and was used for the train collision scene. Exterior: Gray Aluminum // Engine size: 173.9 Ci., 2,849cc // Engine type: V-6 // Horsepower: 140 // Torque: 153.4 lb-ft
