If you don''t know who Chip Foose is, then you''ve probably been living under a rock for the past 10 years. This 2007 Foose Stallion is a Ford Mustang that has been given a full makeover by one of the most talented designers of all time, and if you''ve ever wished for a pro-built custom, this might be as close as you ever get for under six figures. Tuner Mustangs are nothing new, but most are just a collection of bolt-ons and off-the-shelf pieces. Not this Foose Mustang. Every single aspect of the car was fine-tuned by the man himself, from the body components to the wheels to the interior, and if you''re a fan of Chip''s work, you''ll see his signature style everywhere you look. Most notable is the exterior, which is still very much a Mustang, but now with more style, more aggression, and a totally unique look. The two-tone paint is a Foose trademark, with subtle colors that aren''t your usual hot rod fare but always look right when he''s done. A single red pinstripe separates the black and silver, a hot-rodding technique that works quite well on the 21st century Mustang. And despite being properly exercised and enjoyed, it remains in outstanding condition and continues to attract attention everywhere it goes. When people ask, you''ll be able to proudly say that yes, it''s #171 of only 220 built, and even at that, it has many unique features. The ultra-clean look continues inside where it remains mostly stock. Where some tuners choose to add bright graphics, logos, and tacked-on gauges, Chip chooses to go the opposite direction and leave the good stuff alone. That means supportive leather buckets that are still in outstanding condition, a brushed-aluminum instrument panel, and those retro-styled gauges with the Foose logo on their faces. The three-spoke steering wheel is a marvel of packaging, adding an airbag without losing the classic Mustang look, and the stubby 5-speed shifter feels incredibly slick and precise. Everything is standard, including power windows, locks, and A/C, plus a powerful AM/FM/CD stereo system with in-dash CD changer. Custom Foose floor mats are a subtle reminder that this is no ordinary Mustang, and, of course, Chip signed the dash of each one of them. The trunk is neatly finished to stock specs, and includes a subwoofer enclosure for a big sound. The Foose''s 4.6-liter V8 is fortified with a few goodies to up the output to match its stunning good looks. The most notable upgrade is a cold air intake, but Foose also did his own programming on the ECM, so throttle response is immediate and it has a cackling bark that sure as heck doesn''t sound stock (working with Ford does have its perks). The engine is beautifully maintained with fresh synthetic fluids throughout, including oil that was changed every 3000 miles by a meticulous owner. The suspension is upgraded with Ford Racing components for a lowered stance and more bite, plus a strut-tower brace and a K-member upgrade. Massive 20-inch Foose wheels are another signature feature, and wear 225/30/20 front and 285/30/20 rear Falken radials. Fully documented with manuals and other Foose paraphernalia, this is a rare opportunity to own a limited-edition car designed by one of the best in the business. Call today!
