Description:

Look through our inventory and you''ll see a lot of 1940 Fords, but oddly, not many Chevrolets. The big two have been duking it out since the mid-20s, and if your tastes run to the pre-war era, you owe it to yourself to take a good look at this gorgeous 1940 Chevrolet Master Deluxe coupe. Tastefully built with a crate 350 and a lot of luxury and convenience items, this is the perfect rod for the guy who likes to drive. The Indigo Blue paint is actually a 2006 Chevy Tahoe color, and on the curvaceous coupe''s body it looks amazing, bringing out the details and giving it a show-quality glow out in the sunlight. The body is OEM steel that hasn''t been chopped or modified in any way. And why would you? The Master Deluxe is already one of the most handsome cars of the era, with tidy proportions, cool faired-in headlights, and a timeless profile. Bodywork is first-rate, with a lot of extra care used on the final finish. That means tons of block sanding and hand work to get all the surfaces flat, and an expert behind the paint gun to lay it down so beautifully. It shows very little use, and thanks to the wonders of urethane technology, it''ll look this good for years to come. You''ll also note flush-mounted LED taillights and those slick side mirrors almost look like they were born there. You couldn''t ask for a better place to spend some time than the gorgeous gray leather interior. Borrowed from an Olds Bravada, the power buckets incorporate seatbelts in the frame, so this car has all the safety features of a modern piece. There''s also A/C, power windows (including the vent windows!), and a thumping stereo with speakers scattered throughout the passenger compartment. The original dash uses Dakota Digital gauges for a cool effect against the Indigo finish, and things like the A/C vents and controls are nicely integrated. The massive trunk has been finished with matching carpets and side panels. If you''re going cross-country, this is definitely the car to take. Cruising is easy thanks to the 350 HO crate motor under the hood. Making 330 horsepower, it moves the slick coupe with authority that the original inline-six could never manage. With an Edelbrock carburetor and intake, along with a 4-bolt block, it''s a reliable powerplant that''s also a party on the road. There''s enough chrome on the engine to make opening the hood an event, and thanks to a 700 R4 transmission, it cruises effortlessly. Out back there''s a 1957 Chevy rear with 3.36 gears on a Posi, and the front suspension is an independent Mustang II setup with power steering and disc brakes. Classic 17-inch Torque Thrusts wear high-performance Dayton hoops that really fill the big wheel wells. Fully sorted and ready to go cross-country, this awesome Chevy coupe is a great show and go cruiser that''ll make you smile every time you see it. Call today!
