1967 Mercury Cougar XR7 - this car is one of the earliest known XR7s as per a national data base project to be produced with a build date of Jan 17 1967. It is in its original state of condition with only 42K miles on the odometer, with just minor maintenance and up-keep. Original 289 V8 engine and automatic transmission, power steering, power disc brakes, factory cold air conditioning, original California smog control system. This car is completely rust-free, with original sheet metal. Body is very straight, paint is nice, everything in working order. Car is very well documented with all original paper work and prominence. Cars like this are getting very hard to come by and extremely rare.
