This 1970 LHD Series II E-Type Roadster has recently been repatriated fom the US, where it seems to have been cosseted by its two careful owners. It looks and feels like the 23,000 mile car which it reputedly is. The black interior is clean and original-looking, as is the under bonnet area and the engine surfaces. The hood is also in good condition and fits snugly. The paint was re-finished last year in the original Ascot Fawn - a rare and subtly attractive colour indeed. The driving experience is also that afforded by a low mileage example, with a responsive but quiet engine. The original performance-sapping US-spec Strombergs have been replaced by triple SU''s. Imported from the USA in September of 2012 but with full EU taxes paid, this car has American title and a full UK MoT to February 2014 making it ready for registration.
