1969 Chevy COPO Camaro. Finished in high end correct 52/52 code Garnet red urethane paint, with correct 718 Medium Red interior. This is an excellent example of a no expense spared rotisserie restoration. Our COPO is powered by a 427 CI Big Block V8 that as per the previous owner is rated at 550hp and 500ftlb of torque!!! The engine was built to L-72 specifications and then bored .060 over with 11:1 compression ratio, forged steel crank and rods, forged aluminum pistons, Crane L 88 roller camshaft, Crane mechanical valve train with Crane gold race roller rockers, Edelbrock intake manifold, and Edelbrock Pro Flo EFI fuel injection system. All the shifting is done by an M22 Muncie Rock Crusher 4-Speed manual transmission with a Mcleod Racing clutch and a Hurst Shifter. This beautiful Camaro is also equipped with a rebuilt BE code 12 Bolt Posi Rear with Moser Axles and 3.55 Gears and an Inland balanced heavy duty performance drive line. The glass and wiring are all new, it has the correct 140mph speedometer and best of all there is only about 2000 miles since the build. The fit and finish on this incredible car is truly remarkable. The previous owner has stated that he has spent an exhaustive amount of time and effort to verify the true COPO status of this car. In the process, he has amassed quite the amount of paperwork and documentation. We cannot rule out the probability that this may be a real-deal COPO Camaro. You be the judge!
