Description:

Here at Streetside Classics, we recognize when some cars just have the look. It starts with having a solid car to work from, choosing the right colors & paint combination, giving the car a great stance and ensuring the rubber hits the road with the perfect wheel and tire combo. Sometimes it just all comes together right, and that''s what you have here with this 1967 Camaro. Presented in a great color combination with a matching interior, this handsome cruiser is just the thing for those Saturday night cruises and Sunday afternoons at the strip. Given that the cowl tag says this car was originally code T Capri Cream with a code 6 Fawn Beige vinyl top, I think it''s safe to say changing the colors on this one was a smart idea. Now Ermine White with black bumblebee stripe and no vinyl top, it''s a classic color combination that won''t go out of style like the original combination obviously did. Fortunately, it has been applied over some straight bodywork, so the finished product will dazzle at any show you''ll find. Good gaps make it look polished and well-assembled, and the finish has most definitely been color sanded and buffed to create an outstanding shine. The blacked-out RS grille includes hidden headlamps that are fully functional, and additions like the chin and deck lid spoilers give it a period-correct look that''s as aggressive as the rumbling small block under the hood. All the stainless trim has been restored as well, including the wheel well trim and window surrounds, and it wears correct ''rs'' badges on the front fenders and grille. The interior uses black code-Z Strato buckets with silver stripes, an OEM combination that matches the exterior perfectly and is a definitely upgrade over the original Gold. Restored several years ago, it''s holding up nicely thanks to quality materials and superior workmanship, as well as careful use since it was finished. With the complete color change, all the soft parts are new, including carpets, door panels, and headliner, and it''s all in excellent condition today. It also offers a correct Rally Sport steering wheel, and an easy-to-grab shifter for the original powerglide automatic, and a center console that''s always a desirable upgrade. The only significant alteration from stock, besides the color, is a modern AM/FM/cassette head unit in the original location. The trunk is lined with a nice-fitting reproduction mat with no secrets hiding underneath. Power comes from a 327 cubic inch small block, which was rated at 275 horsepower and has been freshly rebuilt. The engine bay is clean, with the engine wearing a correct coat of Chevy Orange paint and it''s nice to see an original air cleaner and painted valve covers, suggesting that authenticity mattered. Underneath it''s solid and presentable, with a rebuilt front suspension, powerglide, and a 10-bolt out back. Cast iron exhaust manifolds dump into a dual exhaust system using Flowmaster mufflers. 15-inch Rally wheels fill the wheel wells with 235/60/15 white-letter radials that complete the sporty package. Admit it, this is the cruiser you''ve always dreamed of owning. Imagine pulling into your favorite car-guy hotspot behind the wheel of this rumbling Camaro-you can''t deny that it has a ton of eyeball appeal. Call today!
