1974 / M Reg, 46,300 Miles, 5.3 Litre V12, Red,  Black Leather with Red Piping, Black Hood, Manual, New MOT. Introduction The Series 3 E Type was introduced in 1971 and continued until the demise of the E Type in 1974. Mechanical changes included a new 5.3 litre V12, improved brakes and power steering. Cosmetic changes included a new larger front grill and flared wheel arches. The V12 was only available as a convertible or 2+2 fixed head coupe and both models used the 2+2 floorplan. We had the pleasure of previously supplying this lovely example and are very pleased to have it back in our stock. It comes with a healthy history file including invoices totalling over £24,000 along with 15 MOT Certificates as detailed below. Inspection In January 2013 when we last supplied the car, the purchaser had an independent inspection carried out by an E Type specialist. The report is very complementary of the car and the conclusion read: “Having inspected and appraised this E-Type which also benefits from having had a SU Carburettor conversion fitted and sports exhaust tail fin which drives extremely well and in my opinion I would value this Jaguar S3 5.3 E Type Roadster at £70,000 which I believe is the current market value.” We have a copy of the full report with the history of the car.   Condition Exterior – In generally nice order. There is some slight corrosion at the bottom of the drivers door but other than that, it is a very nice example indeed.    Wheels - The wheels are in nice order with no damage to note. Interior – The interior is in generally good order.   Tyres (Legal limit 1.6mm / New 8mm) Front – 8 mm Rear – 8 mm Included - V5 - 2 Keys - MOTs as Listed - 12 Old Tax Discs - Many Invoices totalling £24,000 MOT Certificates 22.04.91   34,310 miles 18.06.92   34,630 miles 03.09.92   34,630 miles 18.10.93   36,637 miles 17.03.95   38,236 miles 30.04.96   40,857 miles 17.05.97   41,857 miles 23.06.98   42,052 miles 23.06.99   42,768 miles 04.08.01   44,051 miles 03.08.02   44,694 miles 14.07.11   45,782 miles 02.12.11   45,790 miles 06.12.12   46,025 miles It will be supplied with a new MOT and independent inspection.
