All NOS parts were used if replaced from the originals. Even the shocks are NOS. All date codes are correct for the engine and all of its components plus the glass, transmission, and rear end as dictated by the May 1963 build date. The car has been driven under 50 miles since the completed restoration. The consignor reports that everything functions as it should and that the car drives virtually as new. In 2011, this excellent "Fuelie" coupe received its first NCRS Top Flight award scoring 98.9/100 points during its first time out. Judging sheets are included with the sale of the Corvette. Many restoration photos and other relevant documents are enclosed in the project binder accompanying the car. The ‘63 “Fuelie” Split Window Sting Ray coupe is an icon in the sports car collector world and this example is one of the best anywhere!
