Description:

This specialty-built SEMA Deuce was assembled to commemorate the 40th Anniversary of the SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) Auto Show. The car was penned by famed automotive designer Eric Brockmeyer and became the prototype for the 75th Anniversary Dearborn Duece roadsters. It was produced in collaboration with nearly 40 performance and custom manufacturers and revealed at SEMA 2006 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Every component was custom built for this one-off roadster. It is powered by a Ford Racing Boss 302 V8 engine that is rated at 390hp/360lb-ft and drives a custom Dynamic Racing transmission and Currie 9" rear end. The engine was assembled with performance components including dual 4BBL Edelbrock carbs and performance intake, Ford racing internals, Sanderson Lime Fire headers, a polished driveshaft and visceral Magnaflow exhaust. The all-steel body is painted in Super Jet Black & Boyd Red, provided by DuPont Performance Coatings, and built with Accurail frame rails, custom Bob Drake grill, hood trim and front spreader bar, Mooneyes Moontank and custom head and tail lamps. Inside, this Deuce features a Billet Specialties steering wheel, Classic Instruments gauges, Vintage Air A/C and red leather bench seat from WiseGuys seats. Dront disc brakes provide stopping power behind painted Wheel Vintuqe wheels that are wrapped in Coker wide whites with cheater slicks in back. The car has been driven less than 300 miles since being built and runs and drives smoothly. It is the only vehicle to ever have been authorized to use the SEMA name and official logo, and was previously owned by Chuck Schwartz, SEMA producer for over 30 years. All of the involved manufacturers have signed a custom engine-turned plaque that is mounted in the trunk. We have a binder full of production information and details, as well as build photos, on file with the car. The incredible build quality of the SEMA Deuce is difficult to convey without seeing it in person, and we encourage you to stop by our Bellevue showroom for a personal viewing.
