According to Maserati Spa this Bora was originally produced with a 4.9 litres carburator engine.
It should have been sold when new on June 11, 1973 to a client in Los Angeles – USA.
In the mid 1990’s the car returned to Europe where the previous owner located the car in a small Dutch Museum that was intended to be closed down and the cars had to be sold.
Subject to the car being able to drive out of the Museum under its own power the prospect decided to purchase the car and then embark on a restoration.

It was a very time and money consuming operation that finally finished in October 2007: 37 months of work in total. Today this 4.9 Maserati Bora is being offered for sale on behalf of a private owner and comes with Dutch registration documents. The car is in excellent condition and is on the button.
