From the year 2002 until 2006 the automobile was meticulously restored to original specifications by a New Zealand top class restorer. The perfect restoration needed 5000 hours of work...In the year 2007 the Abbott was presented at the Essen Techno Classica. Here the car won the first prize as best restored automobile on the show. The Abbott was published in several magazines.
