Description:

The egg crate grille featured on the 1955 Fords was widened into a series of rectangles for 1956, but this subtle exterior change was nothing compared to Ford''s adoption of a 12-volt electrical system across the line. The Crown Victoria Skyliner''s sales were plummeting with just 603 made, and it would be replaced by a convertible the next year. A new addition at midyear was the "Town Victoria" 4-door hardtop model which, along with the new Customline 2-door hardtop, were meant to compete with the Chevrolet Bel Air. The Parklane, a Fairlane trimmed Tudor station wagon, was added to compete with the Chevrolet Nomad. MotoeXotica Classic Cars is pleased to offer the beautiful 1956 Ford Victoria you see pictured. This car is truly a splendid example of Ford''s "Crown Jewel" of the 1950s! The current owner has owned the car since 2006 and done an exceptional job on restoring and maintaining the car. Finished in two tone teal and white, the car has benefitted from a recent paint job and restoration which still shows wonderful today. The paint shows very minor imperfections; there are a few very minor rock chips and under the lip of the center of the hood, there is a small paint chip. This car comes equipped with a full continental kit on the rear and all of the trim and stainless on the car is in great condition with no major imperfections. The chrome front and rear bumpers are in excellent shape with an incredible shine and luster. As mentioned before, the car shows very well. Inside, the interior has been refinished in its original style with two tone teal/white vinyl seats and door panels with green carpet. The color combination looks great and complements the exterior. The seats are in great condition, showing no major signs of wear or tear, as are the door panels, carpet and headliner. The dash appears to have been painted to match the exterior of the car and is in great condition. All of the original gauges and the AM radio are still intact! Under the hood, you will find the correct 292 cubic inch V8 engine. The engine compartment is very tidy and not overly detailed. Attached to the engine is an automatic transmission. This Victoria is very vintage and very cool. The Victoria sits upon a set of 15" color match steel wheels with chrome Ford hubcaps on them. The wheels are wrapped in P215/75R15 white wall tires that look great. This car would make an excellent Sunday driver or a superb addition to any classic car collection. The VIN is M6NV120938 and the mileage currently shows 96,000. It is being sold on a clean and clear, mileage exempt Missouri title. GET OUT AND DRIVE!!!
