Description:

The Volkswagen Beetle, officially called the Volkswagen Type 1, or informally the Volkswagen Bug, is an economy car produced by the German auto maker Volkswagen from 1938 until 2003. With over 21 million manufactured in an air-cooled, rear-engined, rear-wheel drive configuration, the Beetle is the longest-running and most-manufactured car of a single design platform, worldwide. Motoexotica Classic Cars is pleased to offer yet another incredible Volkswagen Beetle. This custom 1965 Volkswagen Beetle has thousands of dollars and hours put towards turning it into the car you see today ... and it''s definitely a show stopper! The paint on the car is finished in metallic silver with ghost flames going up the hood and only shows very subtle imperfections such as rock chips. This particular Beetle actually made the 700 mile drive to our shop all the way from dry, western Texas with no issues! This is one awesome little Beetle! The body is in excellent condition and shows very well. The chrome appears to have been re-chromed or replaced, is all intact and looks absolutely incredible. Inside, the interior has been completely redone and looks awesome. The extraordinarily comfortable front bucket seats are wrapped in gray cloth and show no notable imperfections or wear ... same goes for the rear bench seat. The door panels are finished in the same material and look just as great. The carpet and headliner looks great, showing no imperfections. There has been an aftermarket Pioneer AM/FM/CD player installed into the dash and Autogage Tachometer installed below the dash. Under the rear deck, you will find the 2165cc four cylinder engine, complete with dual 40mm Dells, MSD Ignition, a Porsche 911 fan/shroud and Fat Boy Exhaust. Attached to the engine is a manual 4 speed transmission, making this little Beetle a blast to drive! The car sits upon a set of 15" Eagle 5 spoke wheels wrapped in 145/R15 78S tires in the front and P195/65R15 tires in the rear. Very rarely does one find such an exquisite Beetle such as the one you see here! The VIN to this awesome little Beetle is 115282961 and the mileage currently shows 86,588. It is being sold on a clean and clear Texas title. GET OUT AND DRIVE!!!
