The Volkswagen Beetle, officially called the Volkswagen Type 1 (or informally the Volkswagen Bug), is an economy car produced by the German auto maker Volkswagen from 1938 until 2003. With over 21 million manufactured in an air-cooled, rear-engine, rear-wheel drive configuration, the Beetle is the longest-running and most-manufactured car of a single design platform, worldwide. MotoeXotica Classic Cars is pleased to present the beautifully unique 1973 Volkswagen Beetle you see pictured. The car you see here has benefitted from a tasteful restoration and looks fantastic. You may notice something a little different about this Bug ... it has a grill from a very high end luxury vehicle! A few companies made conversion kits for the Beetle to have a Rolls Royce grill and affectionately called them "Rolls Reichs." This is lovely, custom example of the classic Volkswagen Beetle everyone knows and loves. Finished in two tone Silver and Midnight Blue, the Beetle has been recently repainted to a very high quality standard and looks phenomenal! The body is solid and straight as an arrow, as a hardy Beetle should be. There is plenty of chrome all over the Beetle and it all is in excellent condition and shows very well! Overall, this is a handsome, one of a kind little Beetle. Inside, you will find that interior has been recently reupholstered in Fineline two tone gray and black material that looks fantastic and compliments the two tone exterior. The seats are in excellent shape, showing no signs of wear or imperfections. The door panels match the seats and are also in fantastic condition. The headliner and carpet are also in great shape. The windows have been tinted also. To make those afternoon drives more enjoyable, an AM/FM/Cassette stereo has been installed! Under the rear deck, you''ll find the 1600cc engine attached to a 4-speed manual transmission. The engine bay has been dressed up in chrome and stainless steel which looks great. The Beetle sits upon a set of 15" chrome VW wheels that are wrapped with P165/80R15 radial tires. The VIN to the Beetle is 1332546129 and the mileage currently shows 83,209. It is being sold on a clean and clear Kansas title. GET OUT AND DRIVE!!!
