Description:

The Chevrolet Monte Carlo was an American-made two-door coupe introduced for model year 1970, and manufactured over six generations through model year 2007. It was marketed as a personal-luxury coupe through most of its history, with the last model version being classified as a full-sized coupe. When it was discontinued in 2007, it had outlived many competitors that were either discontinued many years earlier or changed in concept to either a four-door sedan or small sport coupe. MotoeXotica Classic Cars is pleased to present the handsome 1986 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS you see pictured. This particular Monte Carlo is indeed a true SS, validated by the VIN number and RPO codes. This car has benefitted from a custom paint job and looks awesome. This car is sure to turn heads for the sheer fact that it is a beautiful car with a little bit of attitude rumbling under the hood. Finished in a deep burgundy with blue and purple ghost flames, the paint on this car is in great shape, showing only minor imperfections. The body of the Monte Carlo is in excellent shape as it is very sound. The car shows exceptionally well and looks great! Inside, you will find that the interior is upholstered in purple cloth and looks great. There are no signs notable signs of wear to be seen. The carpet, headliner and door panels are all in good shape as well. The dashboard is original but houses an aftermarket cluster that shows a little damage, but overall, looks good. There are aftermarket temperature and oil gauges on the pillar that look great. Inside, you will find that this SS does have power locks and windows. The windows are tinted subtlety and look great. The Monte Carlo also has an aftermarket Sony stereo. Under the hood, you will find the 302 cubic inch, L69 V8 engine. The casting number is 3970010. This 302 has a Holley 4 barrel carburetor and an Edlebrock air cleaner. The engine looks and sounds great. Attached to the engine is an automatic four speed transmission. The car sits upon a set of chrome Crager SS wheels: 15x7" with P215/65R15 tires in the front and 15x8"with P255/60R15 tires in the rear. As mentioned before, this is a true Monte Carlo SS. In order to be a true SS, there must be a ''G'' as the 8th digit of the VIN and there must be all of the following in the RPO codes - B4V, F41, L69 and Z65; this Monte Carlo has all of those! The VIN is 1G1GZ37GXGR144307 and the mileage currently shows 78,691. The car is being sold on a clean and clear title. GET OUT AND DRIVE!
