1957 Ford RancheroIts "more than a car! More than a truck!" This was the message proclaimed from advertisers when the Ranchero was presented to the world. With the classic stylings of the Ford Fairlane in the cab with the addition of a truck bed in rear, Ford created the luxury vehicle for the working man. Printed advertisements focused on the images of the American Southwest and along with the Longhorn style emblem and name "Ranchero" showed that this was the vehicle to have for outdoor activities. These cars were incredibly unique and paved the way for Falcons and El Caminos which would be introduced with a similar body shape later on.The body of this 57 Ford Ranchero is very straight and has a beautiful Red and White combination finish. It was very nicely restored while still preserving the original style. All of the correct stainless in cleanly mounted in place and has a great shine. Even the trim pieces over the headlights are there which you rarely see in place. The chrome is all very high quality from bumper to bumper with no pitting or damage. All of the emblems and badging is there down to the classic Yellow/Chrome longhorn on the tailgate. Also on the tailgate is the custom painted palm tree V8 logo which is a nice custom touch. Peaking into the bed you will see a high quality rhino liner finish that was custom done in a Red to match the car. Now you can throw whatever you want in the back and don''t have to worry about any damage as this stuff holds up against anything. The glass is all in great condition with a slightly tinted front windshield. A unique feature found on this car is the dual mirror and spotlight combination units found on each front fender. This was a special ordered option and both units have a very clean finish. Combine them with the factory AC, factory power steering, and factory drum brakes and you have a pretty unique optioned out car. You know it had to belong to someone special if it was bought with all that back in 57. The car rides on a very nice set of Kelsey Hayes spoke wheels with spinner style center caps that are all wrapped with wide white wall tires.Powering up the car is a 312 "Thunderbird Special" V8 that was restored very cleanly. The finish on the engine is just as high quality as the exterior. Most of the components are painted Red to match the car with the correct style Thunderbird Special logos on the valve covers. It has a very nice restored look while still appearing original. The motor runs very smoothly and sends power back through the automatic transmission to the rear end. Everything on the car was completely rebuilt including the suspension system giving it a very nice ride.Moving onto the inside of the car you will see everything is equally well done. The Red carpeting and seat upholstery have a very fresh look with virtually zero wear. The dash has an original style appearance with all vintage knobs/switches. Below, the underdash factory AC unit has been upgraded to insure everything worked properly. It blows cold with no problems. An Kenwood AM/FM/Cassette player delivers a great sound and is nicely mounted where the original AM radio sat.You won''t find many of these Rancheros out on the market especially with this quality of restoration. Plus, being optioned out from the factory adds a touch of rarity that means the value is only going up from here.Add this car to your collection for $34,950.00!Year 1957Make FordModel RancheroVIN# C7KF175657Color Red and WhiteInterior RedEngine 312 V8Transmission AutomaticMileage 60,962 originalOther Factory Air, power steering, and power brakes!Price $34,950.00Stock No. #1358Click "Read more about this car" below for more details & to watch video!
