This cool chunk of pickup truck started life like any other C/K pickup, but thanks to an extensive upgrade about 10 years ago, it looks like what a muscle car would look like if it had to grow up hauling bricks for a living. Hard to believe that a 1987 C10 could attract this much attention, but when you look this good, it''s probably easy to do. At first glance, even in bright sunlight, this sucker looks black. But after careful examination, it''s somewhere between Black Cherry and plain old black and goes by the name "Brandywine." The two-stage urethane still looks good despite the build being a few years old, and that''s a tribute to the care it has received since it was completed. Of course, lots of body mods give it that hunky look, including a cowl-induction hood, custom front and rear roll pans that eliminate the bumpers, shaved trim and door handles, as well as that flush-fitting bed cover. OEM grille and headlights take on an all-new look with the older-style sheetmetal, while out back the taillights have been filled and replaced with Corvette units in the roll pan. If you like how it looks, you won''t be disappointed by how it fits together. They went full custom inside, too, where you''ll get custom-wrapped bucket seats, a hand-built center console, and a red and black color scheme that echoes the ingredients in the Brandywine paint. The factory dash is wrapped in red cloth, with the instrument panel accented by a brushed aluminum fascia around the original gauges. An Auto Meter tach lives up top, while the AM/FM/CD stereo head unit was grafted into the custom center console, which also houses the power window switches and a pair of cup holders. More custom stitchcraft on the door panels gives it a finished look, with a leather-wrapped wheel atop the factory tilt column. Factory A/C remains in place, making this a great long-distance cruiser. For reliability, it''s hard to beat OEM engineering. Mechanically, this pickup remains as the factory built it, including the fuel injected 305 cubic inch V8. Aside from the chrome air cleaner and a Flowmaster dual exhaust system, it''s completely stock, so you don''t have to worry about replacement parts or service in the future, especially since this combination is as reliable as an anvil. The stock suspension has been lowered but still rides quite well, and while it isn''t spotlessly clean underneath, all the hardware remains the same durable stuff installed by the factory. With only 4,000 or so miles on the rebuilt engine, it''s just now getting broken-in and given the reliability of these machines, you have many happy years of cruising ahead of you in this truck. Even the wheels are a subtle twist on the factory work, offering Rallys with black centers and staggered 235/60/15 front and giant 295/50/15 rear tires. This truck represents a lot of custom work and fun for not a lot of scratch. They upgraded the visuals and keep the mechanicals OEM, so you can drive it anywhere without worries. Call today!
