Description:

This big, bad 1972 Chevelle doesn''t do anything small. From the engine to the tires to the hood scoop, this is a predator in every sense of the word. It''s also beautifully finished with a spectacular tan leather interior, making it the kind of car that everyone envies when they see it at a show. The glowing copper body on this Chevelle is simply amazing, and the paint color itself is actually borrowed from the Lamborghini palette. Sure, the brilliant paint gets a lot of the credit, but even up close it lives up to the promises made by the first impression. Bodywork is excellent all around, with great gaps and a lot of attention lavished on the little stuff like the crease that runs from nose to tail, which stands out when rendered in that metallic copper paint. The finish has been wet sanded and buffed to a brilliant shine, making this one ready for any show of your choice. Then there''s the massive 5-inch cowl induction hood that certainly makes a statement, and it''s held down with a set of chrome hood pins. A blacked-out SS grille with bright chrome accents, shiny new bumpers, and SS badges add some extra eye appeal, and this car succeeds simply because it''s so well built, not because of add-ons from a catalog or extroverted graphics. This car''s real calling card is inside, where you''ll find a completely custom tan leather bucket seat interior. With every surface modified to suit this car''s color scheme, the seats invite you to get comfortable and stay a while. The copper color comes inside with accents used on the seat backs and door panels, and they retained a lot of the original hardware so the line between old and new is effectively blurred. That''s the factory instrument panel, now painted to match the bodywork and filled with rebuilt factory gauges. Somehow the custom billet wheel captures the rounded look of the Chevelle and with a tilt column, it''s really easy to get comfortable. The Hurst shifter looks like industrial art, with exposed mechanisms and raw aluminum components, plus a pistol grip handle. Glance in the trunk and there''s zero rust, but the battery has been relocated and there''s a big blue bottle of nitrous, just in case 350 cubic inches aren''t enough. Clearly built for show, the engine bay is more than just pretty. The built 350 CI is topped by a tunnel ram and dual quads, all from Edelbrock, which explains the tall cowl induction hood. Aluminum heads, a big camshaft, and long-tube headers all do their part to build horsepower so you know this one''s no poseur. Lots of chrome, billet aluminum, and painted surfaces make sure that you''ll want to pop the hood every chance you get. The inner fenders and firewall were finished to the same high standard as the rest of the body, and with careful detailing, it looks like someone had a plan from the start. It''s backed by a TH350 3-speed automatic and a 12-bolt rear, so breakage is pretty much a non-issue, even if you run it hard. The floors are spotless and provide a wonderful black background for the brand new Flowmaster exhaust system with turn-downs just ahead of the rear axle. The lowered suspension gives it just the right stance, and the wheel wells are totally stuffed with 20-inch Lexani wheels and 255/35/20 front and 295/30/20 rear Toyo performance radials. As fast as it is beautiful, this Chevelle makes a bold statement. Fortunately, it has the hardware to back it up. Call today! This vehicle is located in our Atlanta showroom.
