You want to get noticed? Or perhaps you just really like the color yellow. Either way, there''s nothing subtle about this over-the-top gorgeous 1967 Camaro Pro-Street monster. With more than 550 horsepower on tap and all the hardware needed to put it to use, this F-body is unquestionably the king of the hill anywhere it goes. There''s no mistaking this car when it shows up-it''s a big deal. Sure, it still looks like a Camaro, but with a long list of body mods, it has evolved beyond a mere pony car. The giant snorkel on the hood is the first tipoff that there''s a lot of horsepower underneath, but upon closer inspection you''ll find that the emblems, door handles, and front bumper have been shaved, the quarters have been professionally re-shaped to handle the mammoth meats underneath, and the rear bumper and taillight housings have been color-matched to the body to create a unique look. Oh, and there are ghost flames up front that are so well done that they don''t even show up in photos-very trick. Fit and finish are professional grade (this is no home-built car), and despite the massive horsepower on tap, the doors fit well and all the gaps are tight. There''s no sneaking around in this one, but then again, who would want to when it looks this good? If you were worried that this is a mere race car with license plates, climb into the fully finished and comfortable interior. Gray cloth buckets are all-day comfortable and with extensive sound deadening, this is a car that can be driven anywhere without beating you up. The harnesses and cage emphasize the horsepower, and with a color-matched dash and leather-wrapped wheel, you won''t forget what car you''re driving, but the workmanship is excellent throughout. The original gauges still live in the dash, augmented by the usual auxiliary units underneath and a monster tach on top and there''s an AM/FM/cassette radio in the dash that''s totally usable when you''re just cruising. B&M supplied the shifter for the TH350 3-speed automatic, and remember this is strictly a 2-seater with the rear seat area full of color-matched wheel tubs. In typical Pro-Street fashion, the fuel cell and battery have been relocated to the trunk, but even so it''s nicely finished with a matching gray carpet set that''s fully bound on the edges. For all the details on the built 468 inch Chevy big block under the hood, you''ll really have to give us a call, but the highlights of this dyno-proven 554 horsepower beast include TRW pistons, a .651 lift Competition Cams camshaft, and an Edelbrock intake with a 750 Demon carb on top. Hooker long-tube headers dump into a dual exhaust system with side exits, and the 4-link out back supports a narrowed 9-inch with 4.11 gears inside, and there''s a disc brake at each corner compliments of JFZ. It''s all color-matched and finished to show off, but there''s no question that performance was the primary goal. Hooking up shouldn''t be a problem, either, not with those massive 31x18.5-15 Hoosier Quick Time Pro slicks out back and skinny 26x7.5-15 Mickeys up front, all on polished Weld Pro-Stars. Impressive to look at and even more amazing to drive, this is the Camaro for the guy who knows that too much is never enough. Call today! This vehicle is located in our Dallas/Fort Worth showroom.
