Description:

This Series One 4.2 litre Fixed Head Coupe with Webasto roof has just been extensively refurbished by Racing Green Cars, and is now ready to be enjoyed by its next discerning owner. The original engine was found to be irreparably damaged, so a replacement engine was sourced and was completely reconditioned by two of the best engine shops in the business. The recon included the fitment of high-torque cams, and the balancing of reciprocating parts for extra smoothness. The gearbox was reconditioned, and a new clutch was fitted. The differential was rebuilt. Suspension bushes were renewed. New Koni shock absorbers were fitted. The brake system was completely renewed, including the fitment of Coopercraft uprated calipers. Exhaust was replaced by a new stainless system. New Pirelli P4000 tyres were fitted to the chrome wire wheels. The bodywork was refinished in Rolls-Royce Velvet Green, and the biscuit interior was treated to re-trimmed leather seats and new front carpets. Bumpers, overriders and door frames were rechromed, as were other small items as necessary. The result is a car which looks good, feels new mechanically and is very rewarding to drive, especially with the Webasto roof open for that fresh air feeling.
