According to the Alfa Romeo archives this particular car came out of production on 01-02-1962.
It was then sold new on the 13th. of February 1962 to an Italian client.
In the late 1990’s a Swedish workshop, authorized to deal with Alfa, Maserati and Lamborghini, was asked to locate a Sprint Speciale for a client. This car was found in Italy and imported into Sweden in 2000.

In 2004 this Alfa Romeo Sprint Speciale was then purchased by the present Swedish owner, who happens to be a founding member of the Registro Internazionale Alfa Romeo 6C2500.
In 2010 he drove this Sprint Speciale from Sweden to Italy for the 100 Year Anniversary. There he used the car in a three day celebration, ending in the Romeo family house in Magreglio.
Then in August 2010 he participated in a 100 Year Anniversary rally in St Moritz.
But whilst going up and down the Swiss Alps the engine became hot and so the owner decided to leave his car with an Italian Alfa Romeo specialist in Bordighera in order to have his car sorted out.

Major engine-work was done and upon finishing this job the car had done various test runs in Italy.
The owner then collected his car and drove it to the 2011 Mostra Auto e Moto d'Epoca show in Padova and then to the Dutch Alfa Romeo meeting at Zandvoort and then back to Sweden again.
Now the owner has decided to offer his car for sale in order to start on a new project.
The car is in good and original overall condition with strong mechanics.
