Description:

This vehicle is being sold as Lot No. F297.- 427 CI Lightweight Fairlane- Manual steering, manual brakes, original fiberglass lift-off hood and only one of two known to have been built with the factory heater delete option- Just completed a rotisserie restoration to concours quality including correct fits and oversprays- The 19,000 miles are documented as original- These Fairlanes were offered as factory built race cars and distributed to a small number of Ford''s Super Stock pilots, so the Ford street guys were denied access to them- Because of the power and concerns for stopping, Ford fitted manual disc brakes on the front of these Fairlanes which was not even offered in 1966 on the regular Ford FairlanesFor more details on this vehicle, Visit the Mecum Web Site
