A testament to greatness is this 1972 Chevrolet C10 Custom pickup truck with a 350cid V-8 engine mated to a THM-350 automatic transmission, and painted in Flame Red over a well-maintained black vinyl interior. This 2nd generation - C/K truck series was a total success for Chevrolet. Sales exceeded all expectations. Some of the features that this truck has are power steering, power brakes, AM/FM radio with a cassette player, back up lights, non glare inside mirror, dual outside chrome plated mirrors, a panoramic rear window, padded dash, a newly designed seat belt with retractors, front disc brakes and more. In addition to what Chevrolet dressed this truck with, the owner has also added double hump heads, a trusted Edlebrock intake, carburetor and exhaust headers, a dual exhaust system, bed cover, rally wheels with spinners and gauges to watch what is going on inside the engine compartment. Chevrolet advertised this truck as "A good, solid foundation for your vacation home." With updated suspension and stronger frame rails, many owners were attaching custom campers to the bed and seeing America again. This is a nice driver truck that has plenty of miles left on it. There are no apparent sign of rust or bondo. The engine compartment is clean and dry. The bed and chrome are in good shape. Give it a #7. Even back then trucks were used for heavy duty. Fortunately, this truck never had that kind of use. Inside, the door panels, armrests, deep-pile carpeting and seats show a carefully maintained truck. Body fit and panels show well.
