This 1967 Camaro 2-door hardtop coupe is a fine example of taking a good car and making it even better. A recently rebuilt 355 cid V-8 is mated to a Richmond 5-speed manual transmission and coupled to a 12-bolt rear end. The motor is topped with an Edelbrock intake and a 4-barrel carburetor. To keep it running, is a fuel cell with an electric fuel pump, electric ignition, and to keep it cool is an aluminum radiator. The deep black paint over code #760, richly embossed, all vinyl black interior that looks good with its thin line bucket seats. Options and accessories include power steering, tilt wheel, gauges, a new dual exhaust system, carpeting and much more. In 1964 GM gave the green light and the go-ahead for the "F" body project, in response to some of the Detroit''s other manufactures new products. 2 years later we saw this new car called the, ''Camaro'' and when it hit the streets and it was an instant success. It came in this 2-door hardtop design that we have here, and the convertible version. This particular car is painted in Tuxedo Black but there were 23 other colors that were available. In addition Chevrolet offered nearly 80 factory options and 40 dealer installed accessories, including 3 main option packages and a choice of 4 different engines. Motor Trend called it a ''road machine with a wide stance stability'' and soon after Chevrolet started calling it the ''Hugger''. In the interest of safety Chevrolet included a dual master cylinder brake system and self-adjusting brakes. What was popular back then and even today was an overall appearance of a long hood and short rear deck, which had the appearance of the popular "Coke-bottle" shape, which dominated the designs back then. If you look at the current version you will readily see that same design in today''s version. This car has is very clean. Look underneath it and see how fresh it looks. Even the carpets are clean, straight and fresh. The driver side door panel and armrest look as good as the passenger side. To set this fine example off is a set of Torque Thrust Wheels at each corner. The size of the front tires are 215/65x15 and the rears are 255/50/ZR16. If you are looking for a fun car to drive this is an excellent, around the town driver, to own. This car shows well and is an attention grabber. The engine bay is nicely done but not overly done. You could never duplicate this car for the advertised price. Come down and start this baby up. You will not be disappointed. This is classic American muscle.
