Description:

When you ask a Hot Rod enthusiast what is one of their all time favorite muscle cars and inevitably you will be told the 1941 Willys. And when it comes to 41 Willys, this car is absolutely one of the top ones in the country.

This is a real steel body car that has been carefully modified and built by the craftsman of Money Pit Restorations and Dave's Auto Repair out of California. It is covered in beautiful House of Kolor Cinnamon Pearl and Pearl White paint with a great set of flames witch are outlined in just the right touch of green. Prior to paint, virtually every panel of the body has seen some modifications. The front clip is a custom built one piece fiberglass unit. A pair of Mercedes headlights have been frenched into the front fenders that really light your way. The doors of the car have received some very distinctive treatment. They are suicide and then modified to resemble the point of the car's hood. The side mirrors have been molded into the doors and have flush mount turn signals installed into them. The rear fenders have been molded into the body giving it a very smooth appearance. The exhaust exits out the side just in front of the rear wheel through rectangle openings that have hinged flaps. This is a very cool effect. The tail lights are Arlen Ness motorcycle LED units. Another little but very nice touch is the 3rd tail light that displays a "W" in LED for Willys. The doors, hood and trunk are all power actuated. The hood actually travels out and up upon opening. And a great classic Willys grill sits up front.

The interior treatments of the car are just as impressive as the exterior. It was done by Gabe's Custom Upholstery of California. It is done in a Camel color leather throughout with some fantastic stitch work on the seats, door panels and headliner. The carpet is high grade tan wool. The custom formed dash houses a linier set of Dakota Digital gauges to keep you informed of all the car's critical functions. It also houses the Hot Rod AC/Heat controls. You will find a custom console that houses the Sony AM/FM/CD Stereo system as well as the Air Ride Technologies control panel. It has a polished Ididit tilt steering column with a Colorado Custom steering wheel. The turn signal, tilt wheel and shifter arms are all capped off with custom made caps that match the center caps on the cars wheels. Again, just another nice touch. The same quality materials and workmanship went into finishing out the trunk.

The car is powered by a GM 502 that is producing 600 horsepower. It features a custom polished Arizona Speed & Marine tuned port intake system, ported & polished aluminum heads, 9.6:1 forged pistons, a HEI distributor and a set of custom built headers connected to stainless tubing and Magnaflow mufflers. It also has Zoops polished pulleys and brackets, a polished water pump, a polished steering pump, a polished AC compressor and a polished alternator. The billet ball milled valve covers and air breathers have been highly polished with the valleys painted to match the car's exterior. The engine is kept cool by a Mattson dual pass aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. The motor is connected to a fully polished 4L80E computer controlled transmission with a Jet 2,000 stall converter. All this power is transferred to the car's massive rear wheels by a Currie 9 inch posi rear end fitted with 3:55 gears.

The car truly rides and drives like a new car. The Art Morrison chassis has been fully powder coated and is equipped with a Mustang II style front suspension. It has polished upper and lower control arms connected to Mustang II spindles with Wilwood dual piston calipers. The disc brake rotors are cross drilled and provide plenty of stopping power. The rear suspension consists of a 4 link set up. With the addition of Shockwave air ride on all corners, the car can display a super lowered stance. It rides on 15X4 ET spokes in front and 15X15 ET windows in back that are dressed with Mickey Thompson 31X18X15 tires.

There are so many unique custom features to this car, I am confident that we have overlooked many of them in this description. It really needs to be seen to fully grasp the fantastic build. The car has won numerous national awards. This is your opportunity to own a dream machine that will just provide thrills every time you take it out.
